Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Ying Stock-Bordnick and I am an aspiring engineer, seasoned maker, and a small business owner. Ever since I was a kid, I've always been curious about the world around me. Even today, I love taking things apart to see how they work, critiquing their designs, determining my own ways to improve their form and function, and even making them better myself.

Fast forward to the present, I am a senior at Tulane University and an engineering physics major pursuing a mechanical engineering certificate and a master's degree in materials science engineering through Tulane's 4+1 program. Ultimately, my goal is to have a career where I can express my creativity through the innovation and optimization of products, processes, and more. I want to make them as ergonomic, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing as possible.

My ideal career paths include human factors engineering, materials science engineering, ergonomics, product engineering, industrial engineering, design, and any field that enhances people's lives :)
